Kent Searle
The Support Services Bureau was created in 1996's re-organization. Headed by Assistant Chief, Kent Searle this Bureau includes the Fire Alarm Office, Maintenance Shop, Infectious Disease service for the members, maintains firefighting Tools and Equipment, procures and provides all medical and station supplies, operates a SCBA repair shop (Mask Repair), oversees fitness testing for the members, provides operational oversight of the Administration Complex, repairs and launders fire turn-out gear, and oversees all Division land acquisition and construction. The Support Services Bureau also acts as the Division's liaison with the City of Columbus' Facilities Management and Fleet Management Divisions.

Fire Alarm Office (FAO)
The primary function of the FAO is to receive calls from the public and to dispatch the necessary recourses in order to best meet the requirements of the emergency. This function is performed by the Division and also several townships.

The Hydrant Coordinator is the Fire Division liaison for the Water Division. The Water Division is Responsible for 23,679 city hydrants and 6,075 private hydrants. The hydrant coordinator also is responsible for street plans and associated proposed water mains, both public and private.

Mask Repair is staffed by 1 Lieutenant and 3 firefighters they must maintains the following certifications SCBA MSA Level I, SCBA MSA Level II, SCBA MSA Level III. Ground Ladder Testing school per NFPA 1914 Breathing Air Compressor Maintenance
Tools & Equipment
Tools & Equipment is staffed by 2 firefighters their responsibility's are to ensures that Fire Fighting Equipment is ordered, distributed, and proper stock levels maintained. Insures repairs of damaged equipment when needed including repairs/replacement of nozzles, axes, pike poles, pry tools, power saws, fans (Smoke ejectors ) hydraulic power units, ropes, webbing, fire extinguishers, water rescue equipment as well as keeping up with the latest technology in fire fighting.
